Woven Coasters/Mini Tapestries with Oie Slate

In this beginner weaving class, fiber artist Oie Slate will guide you through creating your own unique woven coaster or small tapestry. You will learn how to set up a frame loom, the basics of weaving, and how to form shapes and patterns in your weaving. No experience required; open to both new and more experienced weavers. If you’ve always wanted to learn to weave or want to practice your fiber arts, this class will be a lot of fun. You’ll leave with a mini tapestry or woven coaster as well as the instructions and tools to continue weaving at home!
