Knitting 101 With Spike

Have you always wanted to learn to knit? Here’s your chance to make it happen. Spike has been an avid knitter for decades and has taught hundreds of others to knit. She’s a former employee of Hill Country Weavers and once owned her own knitting shop, The Stash. In this class the focus will be learning basic stitches—knit and purl. We’ll also talk about types of yarn, from fiber content to various weights and dyes. And we’ll talk about patterns, online resources, and Hill Country knit shops. You’ll start a simple project you can finish later at home. All supplies are included.
